Michael Malloy Profile
Michael Wm. Malloy is a senior operations advisor for WHPacific, Inc. Michael has over 48 years of experience in the administration, planning, and design of civil, transportation, water, wastewater, and environmental projects within New Mexico and surrounding states. He developed and directed Native American projects in New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. In his career, he served as the president and chief executive officer of Gannett Fleming West, Inc. and the regional director of western operations for Gannett Fleming Inc. in which he oversaw operations in 19 western states. Mike retired after 41 years with Gannett Fleming and as he often states “ Engineers never really retire, they are repurposed.” Mike was one of the principals for creating First Americans, LLC, a Navajo architectural and engineering firm, prior to joining WHPacific, Inc.
Mike has served as the president of several professional organizations: American Council of Engineering Companies, New Mexico State and Albuquerque Chapter of the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers, and the American Public Works Association, New Mexico chapter. He has been recognized by his peers with numerous national and state awards. He also is a member of the Michigan Technological University Civil Engineering Academy and the New Mexico State University ACAGE.
