Biography
Lindsey Bomke, RN, MSN, is the director of clinical Education at UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center (UNMSRMC). She has 18 years of health care experience total, with the majority of her career spent working in an intensive care unit. As an ICU nurse, she served on many committees to improve patient outcomes and experiences. As a charge nurse, she enjoyed mentoring new nurses and helping them build their competence and confidence. She then served as ICU director for four years at UNMSRMC. In this role, she was able to further develop her leadership skills, completing the University of New Mexico Leadership Academy certificate program, then a masters of science in nursing with an emphasis in leadership in healthcare organizations from Grand Canyon University. In her current role, she coordinates and teaches various life support courses, nursing orientation, and leadership development courses. She has a passion for investing in nurses at the beginning of their careers and supporting their success.
Lindsey is a native of Indiana, completing a BSN degree from Indiana University. She moved to New Mexico in 2011 with her husband and two sons. She currently serves as secretary and assistant den leader for Cub Scout Pack 147 in Rio Rancho.
