Scholar Life

HOSA Members in Nashville for the 2025 International Leadership Conference

At The ASK Academy, scholars take part in a full day of enriching academic and extracurricular opportunities! In addition to the wide range of courses offered through our Biomedical Sciences and Engineering & Design pathways, our scholars are immersed in a rigorous curriculum that prepares them for success in college and beyond.

Outside the classroom, ASK scholars can participate in more than twenty clubs that support their interests, leadership development, and community engagement. Opportunities include High School Student Government, National Honor Society, VEX Robotics, High School and Middle School HOSA, The Literature Club, Chess Club, Drama, ASL Club, Percussion Club, and Model UN, among many others. Whether they’re diving into STEM challenges, performing on stage, or advocating for global issues, our scholars are encouraged to lead, create, and connect.

We are also expanding our athletics program. Last year, we introduced a middle school archery club and a high school boys’ basketball team. We look forward to growing our sports offerings in the future.

ASK is proud to participate in the statewide Near Peer Tutoring Program, where high school scholars earn income by tutoring middle school students. It’s a wonderful way to build community while providing valuable academic support.

Though we are a relatively small school, our scholars' days are filled with exciting opportunities to build relationships, learn, and lead as members of our amazing community!
