Biography

Alexander Price, R.N., B.S.N., C.E.N.

Alexander is an Emergency Registered Nurse since 2007. He has worked at Presbyterian Hospital and now at The Sandoval Regional Medical Center. Prior to that he was a patient care tech, EMT-I both as a volunteer in Edgewood and full-time in Albuquerque with Superior Ambulance. He attended high school at Abbotsholme boarding school in Uttoxeter, England and did all his medical education at The University of New Mexico. 

He continues to produce internet content including a nature journal blog, but also publishes nature articles in a local magazine. Occasionally he reviews preprint articles for EMS textbooks. He is secretary of the Corrales Bosque Advisory Commission and participates in conservation projects when possible. Alexander participates with many volunteer activities in the medical fields, nature, and school setting. These range from the Red Cross, Tree Stewards, Albuquerque One, Healthcare for the Homeless, Hospital Medication and Safety teams, as well as past archery and fitness groups with Corrales Elementary School.

Alexander grew up in Majorca, Spain and travelled often with his family around the world. He moved to New Mexico in 2001 and currently lives in Corrales with his wife, son and two dogs. His hobbies include nature photography, RV'ing, travel, and working towards a master’s in biology.
