CEO Updates and Reminders 10/14/2024
UPDATES:
The Parent Support Committee (PSC) will be holding a meeting on Friday, 10/18/24, from 8-9:15 A.M. in the Commons at The ASK Academy.
On Wednesday, 10/23/24, and Thursday, 10/24/24, The ASK Academy will have a noon dismissal due to SLATE Conferences. Drop-Off is at 7:30 AM and Pick-Up is at noon.
On Friday, 10/25/24, there is no Scholar Tutoring due to SLATE Conferences.
On Friday, 11/1/24, The ASK Academy will be hosting Fall Fest! Save the date!
On Tuesday, 11/5/24, The ASK Academy is closed in observance of Election Day.
On Monday, 11/11/24, The ASK Academy is closed in observance of Veterans Day.
On Friday, 11/15/24, The ASK Academy will host Turkey Bingo from 5:30-7:30 PM. Please be on the lookout for more information on this family favorite event.

The ASK Academy recognizes and deeply appreciates the many volunteers in our school. We encourage any parent or guardian who is interested in joining our group of volunteers to begin the process. Parents or guardians that would like to chaperone upcoming field trips must complete the process ahead of time. Use this link to get more information: Volunteer Information
This is a reminder that Scholars are to be picked-up no later than 4:30 P.M. This does leave you some flexibility when it comes to your arrival time for Pick-Up. The gate will open at 3:30 P.M. If you choose to arrive around 4:15 P.M. you will have a significantly shorter wait time and complete the process in about 10 minutes. Arriving at 4:15 P.M. will help the traffic flow and make the process work better for everyone.

The Entrance Gate to the Academy will be open M-F from 7:30-8 A.M. and 3:30-5:30 P.M. M-TH. If you arrive after 8 A.M. you need to enter the building and sign your scholar in, and they will receive a Tardy slip.
Middle School Scholars and High School Scholars must have an appointment with a Project Manager to come in on Fridays. Scholars will reach out to their Project Managers to schedule an appointment time.
Please remind your scholars to be in uniform daily. All scholars must be wearing an ASK polo shirt, with the ASK logo. Hoodies are not allowed to be worn over the ASK polo. Allowable pants/slacks of a solid color (khaki or black) are allowed. No shorts, skirts, cargo pants, spandex, yoga pants, leggings, sweatpants, or other non-uniform fabrics are allowed. Scholars must always wear closed-toe shoes at the Academy (no sandals, flip-flops, slippers are allowed).
