Supply List: This course will require Scholars to bring:

  •       Computers (assigned by The Ask Academy)
  •       A sketch book (size 9” by 12” mixed medium/ material paper)

  •       Computer mouse (This comes in handy when we move to 3D art on computers. Some programs are nearly impossible to navigate without a mouse. The trackpad will NOT suffice.)

CLASS EXPECTATIONS: Come to class prepared and with a positive, open mindset. Scholars are expected to be respectful to the Project managers, fellow scholars, themselves AND supplies. Scholars are expected to put their best efforts into their work. This course grades on effort not skill or ability. And remember to have FUN!

Dear Parents, Guardians and Scholars,

Please read the information below, sign and return to Ms. Kae.

During class time you will keep your cell phone silenced and in your backpack. There will be times that we will use our phones to do our work and at that time you will be able to have your phones out.

Please bring your computer to class every day, but keep your computer in your backpack unless we are using them to do our work. We will start with traditional media to build on the concepts of Digital art.  As we move further into the year we will use our computers to complete all of our work, please remember to bring your charger to class every day!

There will be no playing of video games or using social media during class time even when we are finished with work. There will be other options for you to do that do not involve playing on your phone or computer. I would also like to ask you to not use earbuds/headphones during class time. If you want to use them, ask permission first. The consequences to the above mentioned will result in the device being taken away and put in the office for the remainder of the day and your parent/guardian will be notified.

I really appreciate your help and support with these things and look forward to a great year!

Thank you!!

Ms. Kae
