Ms. Van der Vossen Fay - Algebra 1 & Geometry

About me: I have a degree in Civil Engineering from UNM and a Secondary Mathematics Teaching Certificate from CNM. This is my first year teaching Mathematics at the ASK Academy, although I was a substitute teacher last year so many scholars may recognize me. I have also taught at Hope Christian School and Rio Rancho High School. Before that, I homeschooled my four kids for parts of their academic careers. One is a graduate of the ASK Academy and two currently attend.  I love math and I strive to make it fun and engaging for my students through the use of games and in-class activities. I hope that throughout my class, scholars will gain a better understanding of mathematical concepts, become more confident in their abilities and possibly even start to enjoy math.
