About Me

Samantha Vollmar
Hello!
I am very excited to start my 5th year at The ASK Academy and my 12th year teaching. I attended UNM and earned my Bachelor’s in Secondary Education for English Language Arts.  I have an endorsement in TESOL and in 2018, I achieved National Board Certification in English Language Arts for grades 6-12. I am lucky to have three young children, who I love dearly. In my free time, I love to read, run, and travel. I have read over 19 books already this year!
 
I look forward to sharing my passion for reading, writing, and critical thinking with the ASK Academy scholars!
